Tommy Shaughnessy, Michael Eichert © Goetz His fellow members on the WDSF Presidium voted Second Vice-President Michael Eichert unanimously to assume the chair of the Sports Commission that was left vacant after the resignation of former chairman Marco Sietas.

Michael has been on the Commission since 2006. Assuming the chair with immediate effect, he will conduct the meetings of the commission that are scheduled here in Barcelona, ESP, on 23 and 24 January.

The vacant position that had opened up on the Sports Commission was filled with the newly appointed WDSF Sports Director Tommy Shaughnessy.
